Avala keeps one English text of each legal document. The "Last updated" date on the page is the date of that text. A capture recorded in Arcade is stamped with the document slug, that date, and a short digest of the file, so a later edit does not rewrite what was in force when the recording was made.
This page is the changelog. It is not a second contract. Older wording is retained in Avala's records. The URL of a document always shows the current text.

- Added Contributor Terms for Arcade and coworkers: a non-exclusive license covering likeness and voice, content representations, acceptance and pay, independent-contractor status, and consumer arbitration with a 30-day opt-out.
- Added the Household Release for adults who appear in a capture.
- Added the Biometric Policy, including a public retention and destruction schedule.
- Added the Dataset License for customers who receive Avala-collected captures.
- Published the Data Processing Addendum as the addendum a customer executes. Opening the page does not by itself form a contract.
- Replaced the single-vendor hosting note with the Subprocessors list and a 30-day change notice.
- Updated the Privacy Policy for Capture Data, data customers, the notice of financial incentive, marketing cookies, retention, and deletion after a capture is licensed.
- Updated the Terms of Service for eligibility, the relationship to the Master Services Agreement, feedback, app stores, a DMCA contact, and the dispute terms.
- Updated the Ethics Policy with contributor and bystander commitments and prohibited uses.
- Updated the Cookie Policy to name Avala AI, Inc. and to state that marketing cookies are not used in Arcade.
- Added this Consumer Health Privacy notice.
