This release is for an adult who will appear or be heard in a recording made for Avala AI, Inc. ("Avala"). The person who is recording is the contributor. You are the person in the recording. The current version of this release is the "Last updated" date above.
Release
You confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have been told that the recording may show your face, your body, your hands, your voice, and the inside of a home, and may include video, audio, and depth or LiDAR.
- You consent to the recording, including audio, and you understand that some states require every person in a private conversation to consent.
- You give Avala a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the recording of you, including your likeness and voice, as Capture Data under the Contributor Terms. Avala may license that recording to customers that train models. The Dataset License prohibits those customers from re-identifying you and from building a biometric template of you for identification.
- No one under 18 will be in the recording. If a minor enters the scene, the contributor must stop and delete the take.
- You can refuse. If you refuse, the contributor must not record you.
What Avala keeps
When this release is accepted in Arcade, Avala stores your name, the time of acceptance, and this version of the release, against the recording session. That record is how Avala shows that the people in the capture consented. The Privacy Policy and the Biometric Policy explain retention and deletion.
A copy you sign on paper, with your name and the date, is the same release.
